I love the combination of salty and sweet. It’s not for everyone, but gosh I love it!
These Chocolate Dipped Pretzels are kind of the perfect snack. Salty savoury pretzels, deliciously dark chocolate with a coating of chopped nuts or fairy sprinkles.
You don’t really need a recipe for these Chocolate Dipped Pretzels, so I’ll walk you through it photo-by-photo.
You can buy pretzel sticks or pretzel rods from major supermarkets like Coles or Woolworths. I bought this brand at the local organic store for about $2.40.
Melt your choice of dark, white or milk chocolate – or all 3! – in a microwave or on the stove.
Dip the pretzels into the chocolate and then immediately into your choice of toppings. Don’t wait or your chocolate will set and the toppings won’t stick.
Roll it all around until it’s nice and covered.
Place the dipped pretzel on a tray lined with baking paper until set.
On a cool day they will set almost instantly, but if it’s hot at your place, you can pop these into the fridge just until set.
Don’t like nuts? No problem! Cover your Chocolate Dipped Pretzels with any kind of topping you like – crushed biscuits, smashed-up candy canes, dried fruit, or sprinkles!
I like to eat the Chocolate Dipped Pretzels on their own, but they are also fun to put in a banana split or ice cream sundae.

Yes. I did shove all three in my mouth at once like they were McDonalds’ fried. Don’t judge me.
